Tonight we went to Hard Times Cafe here in Waldorf for dinner before the Winter Classic. It is less than 2 miles from our house and quite yummy. It’s very “Texas” style and specializes in different types of chili. Since it was our first visit to the restaurant we got the Chili sampler, which Xander enjoyed eating from. At one point he stopped eating and started pointing to me. Adrian thought he wanted some of his buffalo wings but I knew he needed his milk and right away!! A few of the chili types were quite spicy and I was rather amazed that he was eating it. Needless to say, after he guzzled his milk he didn’t go back to eating the chili.

After dinner we drove home (I love having things soooo close!) and enjoyed some family time. Xander played some He-Man while watching part of the Winter Classic and then I put him to bed.
