I need to take a belly picture but thought I would update about my appointment I had today. I’ve gained 2 pounds in the past 2 weeks (adequate weight gain at this point) and the baby is measuring great. I have seen a different doctor every time I have an appointment because honestly you have no idea who will be on when it’s time for delivery. Although now that I think about it that’s not necessarily true since I’m having a scheduled C-section. Anyway, all the doctors I have had throughout this pregnancy have been great! Today I saw Dr. Wong who was super fantastic. He had a great bedside manner and took the time to answer my questions and showed that he cared. He started off the appointment by asking me if we knew the gender and if we picked out a name yet. It’s been fun sharing the name with people who don’t really know me and I don’t see in everyday situations. Lately I’ve had a few of my patient’s parents ask me the name so I’ve told them. But we are still keeping it a secret from everyone else. Anyway, he also turned on the ultrasound to check my fluid levels and placenta positioning. At this point I couldn’t tell what I was looking at but he said everything looked great. Baby is happy and healthy! I also got all my paperwork back from short term disability that the doctor had to fill out. Things are rolling right along! Now to make some progress on the nursery. Baby boy will be here in only 30 more days!!!!!!!
