We had some minor house issues come up over the past few weeks that were all taken care of today. Ryan Homes arranged for the contractors to all come between 8 am and 11 am today and they were all here and got things done quickly! We were quite impressed…Adrian said it was like McDonald’s- quick and efficient. Here were the fixes-
* Rug in the upstairs foyer was coming up near the banister
* Patio door lock was very difficult to unlock
* Electrical outlet in the family room easily went out especially when we were running the fireplace, TV and Christmas tree over the holidays. It’s good that someone with electrician training managed this project as you can’t let electrical problems surface when you have kids around.
* Exterior painting needed to be completed in the back and side of the house
In other house stuff Xander’s room is coming together quite nice. Adrian hung up a lot of the pictures and we finally got his dresser in there. We also picked up some Roman Shades for Xander and Noah’s rooms from Bed, Bath and Beyond. They look great and are cordless. Noah’s room on the other hand is at a stand still. I haven’t had much free time to work on his crib skirt and canvas name letters lately but imagine that. Hopefully I will get a chance to work on it starting next week.
