Today the weather was hot and humid but we still enjoyed a trip to the National Zoo with the grandparents. Xander was very young on our last trip to the zoo so it was fun to see his reactions to the various animals. Thankfully the zoo was not crowded since it was the middle of the week, so we felt comfortable letting Xander out of the stroller to walk (read RUN) when he got tired of being tied down. It was nice to have two extra set of hands to help with him as well. We will certainly miss grammy and grampy when they head back to Maine. I know Xander will too!
