It has been a long week for me (already), with over 4 hours of commuting round trip on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Even though I’m exhausted, I’m trying to stay positive. This week I’m loving…The excitement Halloween brings when you have kids.
When I was pulling out 3-6 month clothes for Noah I came across Xander’s Halloween costumes from his first Halloween. He had fun running around the house in his old dragon costume. I can’t believe he still fits it! This is Xander two years ago..
I’m loving being able to decorate our house for the holidays starting with our first Halloween in the new house. So many options. Last week I went to Hobby Lobby with Heather for some pretty decorations. I have never had a mantle to decorate so it has been a work in progress.
Here is what it looks like so far..
We finally framed our family photo taken by Amber Scruggs of Little Moon Photography. I love everything about this picture..it just makes me smile.
The fantastic candle stick holders came from Pier 1 and are every day decorations. The Grandmother clock on the far right was Adrian’s grandfather’s. Everything else was purchased at Hobby Lobby.
I’m not sure if I like the Harvest letters on the mantel, as they seem too small. I’d like to find something a little larger for this space. There is plenty of time left in the season!
I’m also loving our other fall decorations.
I’m loving this picture I found on Pinterest. Must find something similar to these and a place to put them.
I’m loving that apple cider is in season and we will soon be picking apples! I can’t get enough of apples in the fall. Especially Macintosh and Honey Crisp.
And of course I’m loving these three amigos. They keep me going on a daily basis.
