Anyone else feel like the weekend went by way too fast. They always do! I didn’t get many things on my “To Do” list done as far as cleaning the house, but we sure had a lot of fun. I did manage to plan meals, get groceries and cook an amazing Sunday dinner though. Adrian and I didn’t sit down to eat Sunday dinner until almost 9 but such is life. Last week I mentioned I was trying out the Kitchen Monki meal planning/recipe keeper website. I have decided that I love it! I love having one central place to organize and keep recipes. I also love that I can plan my meals and organize my grocery list with a few clicks of the mouse. I’m hoping that more people catch on to it, so the recipe database becomes larger. Other than that it’s very useful if you like to be extremely organized. Eventually I’m going to go through my recipe binder and input all of them into the site. Add that to my always growing “To Do” list. As far as dinner this week, I’m sticking with simple.
Here is what’s on the menu:
Monday: Chicken Noodle Soup (Using the chicken from last night’s dinner) and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on Whole Wheat Bread
Tuesday: Chicken Chili (From the freezer)
Wednesday: Lasagna Spinach Rolls and Garlic Bread
Thursday: Crock pot Braised Pork Chops with Sweet Potatoes and Apples with Scalloped Spuds with Broccoli (This was on the menu last week but mommy was sick and didn’t feel like cooking)
Friday: Leftovers
Saturday: Family night out before the Caps game
Check out I’m an Organizing Junkie for more menu planning ideas.
