No Whine with Dinner Cookbook- Giveaway and Review

by Mindi Stavish on November 30, 2011

I have mentioned the The Meal Makeover Mom’s (MMM) many, many times in previous posts. These two Boston area mom’s, Janice and Liz, are both registered dietitians with one mission in mind “fast and healthy recipes, your entire family will love”. I first discovered the MMM through one of my favorite podcasts Manic Mommies. MMM also has a wonderful podcast, where they review recipes, discuss food related topics and more. They typically run no longer than 30 minutes and are a great way to pass time while sitting in traffic or folding laundry. Shortly after discovering their podcast and blog I purchased their first cookbook The Mom’s Guide to Meal Makeovers and instantly fell in love with many of the recipes. Last year I was beyond excited when they released their latest cookbook No Whine with Dinner. This book includes some of my family’s favorite dishes including Adrian’s favorite the Cheesy Spinach Bake.  Both cookbooks have a huge range of healthy but great recipes from main dishes, casseroles, sides, and desserts.  I have given the books as Christmas gifts in the past and love hearing back from my friend’s when they make a certain dish.  This week I’m hosting my first giveaway, an autographed copy of No Whine with Dinner.  Submit a comment below for a chance to win.  I’m curious to see how  you try to eat healthy during the crazy holiday season.  Like us on Facebook for an additional chance to win.

Terms and Conditions:
The giveaway will end on 11:59 EST on Friday December 9th and is open to US residents only. The winner will be drawn using the plugin “And the Winner Is” and notified by e-mail. The winner has 72 hours to respond, before another winner is selected. This review was written by me and I did not receive any compensation for the post.

To help me eat healthy I have cut up fruit on my breakfast cereal and for a lunch I will have sandwich. I try not to snack the junk food and I try to get water to stay hydrated because of the less humidity in the air.

Sounds like a great book! We try and keep things healthy here by planning ahead and sticking with a grocery list and meal plan.

I try to cut up all our vegtables and fruit as soon as we get home from the grocery store. This way they are handy to snack on and I have less of an excuse to avoid eating them. lol.

Fantastic idea! I need to be better at this but it's usually a rush to get the groceries put away.

ohh, I would so love to have that book. I love cook books and with 2 kiddos, I find cooking a challenge. I always get stuck with the same stuff and my husband is not to adventurous. Thanks for doing a giveaway! Great idea.
