Noah: 8 Months

by Mindi Stavish on December 23, 2011

My little peanut is growing up so fast.  I’m a little late in posting this as he is now 8 1/2  months old and full of teeth.  This past month he has sprouted 3 new teeth!!  He no longer has a gummy little grin.  Just this past week he has started showing off his little pearly whites when he smiles.  It’s too cute!

He also has figured out that he can get anywhere he wants to by rolling and rolling and rolling. He is one fast rolling ball of fun! He has also started fully pushing up on his arms when on his belly. It’s strange to see his little head peeking over the pack and play. I think it’s about time we need to lower his crib. Just this week he FINALLY started sitting unassisted for longer periods. He has just been so interested in getting to what he wants by rolling that sitting is not as exciting. This month I started laying him down in his crib at night. He still wakes up at least once in the early morning to nurse and then stays in bed with us. Nursing has been VERY painful with all of his new teeth lately, but I’m fighting through it. There have been only a few nights that have left me in tears, because he bites SO HARD!

He loves to laugh with his brother and Xander knows exactly what gets him laughing hard. I love watching them play together.

And share cookies together..

The older Noah gets the more he looks like Xander. Look at those ears!!! He is Xander’s clone with red hair.

I wish time would slow down. This little guy is growing all too quickly and I’m not ready for that. He brings me so much happiness.

Wishing I could wrap up this moment in time and pull it out years down the road when I have older kids. I love the feeling of nursing Noah to sleep or rocking with him, even in the early morning. There is nothing quite like it.
