This is my first year decorating for Valentine’s day so I’m rather impressed with how quickly I collected enough “stuff” to get our house looking like February and not December. I repurposed a few items I picked up from the days after Christmas sales, as well as a few things we had around the house. I love it when I can be thrifty. I spent a grand total of $55.88 on the mantle. Most of the decorations will be put in other locations in the house at the end of the season.
Let’s take a closer look
Frame: $1.50 on clearance at Ross Candlestick holders: $7.98 each on Christmas Clearance at Target Candles: Multiple colored 5.99 each at Ross, White: 3.99 at The Christmas Tree Store
Hurricane Lantern: Repurposed from Christmas Mantle Subway Art: Given to me by Heather who bought it from Eighteen25 Frame: Found in the back of a closet, collecting dust
Banner: Michael’s Craft Store $2.50
The entry way is one of my favorite things about the design of our house, which is a Zachary Ryan Home. It’s very open with a cathedral ceiling. I love decorating the entry way table, since it’s the first thing guests see when they walk in our house.
LOVE letters: $4.99 at Ross Art Deco Pink Vase: $1.00 at The Christmas Tree Store Artificial pink and white flowers: 4 @ $1.00 each The Christmas Tree Store Silver Candle: Repurposed from Christmas Mantle Pictures: Left- Professional Photo shoot from Noah’s newborn photos Right- Our Wedding Photo (both photos were already framed and in other places around the house)
Happy Love day!!

I love it! Looks adorable. Love the entry way too. We have some kind of lights for every holiday almost, that we string up on the mantle. Well, one string went out this Valentine’s season and we haven’t been able to find ANY anywhere. BOO.
