As I fall more and more in love with blogging there have been several exciting happenings for me. First I was approached by an old high school classmate to do a guest post on her blog. I practiced my food photography skills I learned about through the SITS girls Pinterest Challenge and showed them off in my post featuring one of my favorite dishes, Chicken and Broccoli casserole . Thanks for the feature Jennifer!
Secondly I participated in a month long Blog Awesome Challenge, which I’m happy to say I WON!!!! I’m so honored and excited to be the newest blogger for Tots2Tweens. Tots2Tweens is an amazing website that has lots of great recipes, parenting articles, and a local directory for parents from finding a place to host a birthday party to researching schools. In addition to my internship, I received an all expenses paid trip to attend the Bloggy Boot Camp Conference as their representative. The conference is being held in Philly in the middle of May and I can’t wait. I am excited to attend my first blog conference and look forward to not only learning a lot but also meeting some amazing people. My first blog post for Tots2Tweens will be posted in the beginning of May. I will be sharing some ideas and tips about Summer Travel with Children.
Lastly, as you may have noticed I started posting the weekly feature Mommy Minute Monday on various topics in the areas of speech, language, or feeding. I have had some good feedback and am excited for upcoming topics. New ideas are constantly popping up in my mind. Stay tuned for upcoming topics including sharing books with your child, typical speech and language milestones, warning signs that you may need to have your child evaluated by a Speech-Language Pathologist and a closer look into a typical speech-language evaluation. As always suggestions and questions are welcome!
