About a month ago the boys shared a special day with their friend Lucas, who turned four. Patricia and I have been friends since Adrian and I moved to Washington DC six years ago. It is so hard to believe her first born is now four! We have enjoyed helping each other through the endless nights of teething, breastfeeding woes, and trips to urgent care. With four kids between us there is always something going on! What is even more special than the bad times are the great times. The milestone celebrations, triumphant potty training victories and birthday parties.

No party is complete without presents
After the cake was eaten, the games played and the presents opened, pictures of their smiling faces were captured.
And two friends savored in the delight of another birthday celebration.
