Last week I really wanted to head into DC to capture fall foliage on the National Mall with the boys, but the thought of driving through traffic, finding parking, lugging them around and finding dinner sounded too exhausted for my pregnant butt. The sleepiness of the first trimester has hit me hard already! Instead, we had fun playing in the leaves in the back yard. Thanks to Sandy peak of foliage isn’t going to last long so I knew we were short on time to enjoy it. This is our second fall in the house and I still can’t get over how amazing it is to look out the window into our backyard to enjoy the scenery.

Fall was gorgeous while it was here! The colors were so beautiful that I simply couldn’t capture it perfectly with my camera… of course it didn’t last long with the winds. Now there isn’t a leaf to be found on any tree.
