I LOVE this kit idea. Anything that takes a great book and build an activity around it is wonderful in my eyes. I think my favorite book as a child was…omg there are so many it’s hard to choose. I actually really loved the original Strega Nona so I’ll go with that, but thanks for letting me know about the special Fall version of it!

My all time favorite childs book is Cindy Czekeres Mice Counting 1 to 10. My kids love any and all books. I didn’t know there were other Stega Nona books! Now I’ve got to find the Harvest one.

I liked the Boxcar kids–My Willow loves Your Mama is a Llama we read it all the time–the other is Mikey and the Milkf
I totally forgot about the BoxCar Kids. I loved those growing up!!! We love Mama is a Llama books. Especially the shopping one.
I don’t really know if it is considered a “fall” book or not, but my favorite to read my daughter (and to my sister when she was little) is Berenstain Bears Spooky Old Tree.
I don’t know if this is fall specific, more like Halloween specific but we love the spooky Edwad Gorey books around here, and my kids Like Wake The Dead!
My oldest daughter is really into Dr. Seuss right now so I am always seeing her read Cat in the Hat, Red Fish, Blue Fish…
My three year old is very into all of the Dr. Suess books right now. It’s a lot of fun!
As a child I loved reading The Phantom Tollbooth.
I’ve never read that one! Will have to check it out.

It’s not a fall book…but my daughter LOVES the Pete the Cat books! I love the message to not sweat the small stuff because “it’s all cool”.

I loved all of the Steven Cosgrove books…Squeaker the Squirrel, Fanny, etc.
I am very thankful that my son loves to read too.
I loved curious George books. I didnt grow up with many books but when my grandmom started taking me to the library I Loved it! I loved Curious George!
Right now she loves Spookly the Square Pumpkin. But she loves all books, she keeps them on her bookcase and knows where her favorites are. (don’t know how, it takes me time to find them lol)
