Dear Baby Boy, Wow! Another month in your life has flashed before my eyes. It’s going so fast I can hardly catch my breath. Your growing so fast, learning so much, and such a joy to this family. This month you have started to show your personality. Your constantly smiling your huge toothless grin and even laugh on occasion. That laugh is perfect! Just this past week you have discovered your voice and it’s so fun to hear you coo. Xander especially likes when you talk. Talking right now is the “ah ah ah” sound in a rather loud voice. So, so cute! Your favorite new discovery is your tasty hands. You have also started grasping toys. It’s been a busy month for you! Neither one of us has really adjusted well to daycare even one month in. Your still only napping for about thirty minutes all day long when your there, which breaks my heart. I’m still missing you like crazy during the many, many hours I have to be without you. Ugh! I wish it could be different my love. I cherish the evenings and each and every second of the weekends with you, although they fly by much too quickly. On the bright side, you are still sleeping through the night from 7:30 pm until 5:30 to 6:00 am. You are still in the co-sleeper and I am in no hurry to move you to your crib in your whale nursery. Confession, mommy still hasn’t fully completed decorating your nursery. Ack! The only thing left to do is to print out pictures for frames, as well as print and hang a few canvas pictures for above your crib. Oh and we still don’t have a dresser for you. You love the fact that you can look at yourself in the mirror on the bathroom counter, while I’m changing your clothes or diapers. When we are at home or on the go you love to be worn in a baby carrier. Typically you fall fast asleep while being worn if you are sleepy. You are now in 3-6 month clothes, weigh 12 pounds, 12 ounces and are 24 1/2 inches long.
I’m looking forward to the coming month with you- Halloween and fall foliage. Not to mention the nightly photos I take of you sleeping all snug in your bed. I’m trying to savor each and every day with you during this first year.
I love you my sweet boy. We all do!
