In just a month my baby will turn two.

He’ll greet his party guests with wide eyes and a huge grin.

It’s hard to believe just how fast this year has gone.

He’s learned so much.

How to chase ants on the ground.

Feed himself.

Ask for more chocolate. You know, the important things in life.

He is a big goofball, always making his mama smile and laugh.

His imagination soaring.

He loves kitties, Mickey and Donald, Elmo, trains, and dinosaurs.

His flaming red hair, matches his strong willed personality.

Each waking day he’s a day further away from the tiny newborn in my arms.

He’s almost two.

Noah’s monthly posts seem to come at a rapid rate lately. Before we know it our little peanut will be turning two and this just can’t be. I’m SO not ready for two with this little spit fire. He will keep us on our toes for sure! The major change in Noah’s life this past month has been that his tush probably feels much better. I switched him from disposable to cloth diapers and am loving it! Look for a more in depth posts about what type of diapers I’m using and how the switch went next week. The transition to cloth diapers wouldn’t have gone so easily, if I didn’t have a fantastic daycare provider who was very open to using cloth.
Other than a happy tush, little N’s language has been exploding. He has started to put two and sometimes three words together and LOVES to imitate his brother. Just the other night, Xander was looking at a toy catalog, pointing to a toy he wants and Noah imitated, “I want that.”. My mouth about hit the floor! It’s so much fun to see him protest for his toys and my favorite is when he calls out my name over and over when we are in the car. I know years down the road, I will be tired of him calling my name over and over again but for now I’m enjoying the sound of his sweet little boys say “mama”. Of course, with a language explosion comes the start of tantrums, power struggles and the constant “no”. Sigh! I guess we have to take the good with the bad, put on our shit kickers, and trudge through the dirty water, right?
Here comes the storm….the little red head named Noah James.
