Hi Mindi,
I was reading your article on using straw cups instead of sippy cups. I strongly agree with you about not using sippy cups and that they are a “glorified bottle”. I was wondering what your thoughts are on using an open rim cup? The reason I ask is that I am looking for some feedback from health care professionals on chewing and speech development that supports open cup feeding. Sharon Totter’s article talks about the benfits of open cup feeding http://www.sharontrotter.org.uk/midirs2006new.htm. If you could email me with some feedback it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jennifer Ball

Hi, I love your blog. I wanted to pin your post about Picky Eater vs. Feeding Disorder but the Pin It button doesn’t work. It says you need to assign an image to the posting. I’ve referred several people to your post because they are wondering how significant their child’s eating issues are. Being a mom of two feeding disorder kids with g-tubes, I appreciate having this as a quick reference for people who ask questions or want something to refer to. Thank you!
