Last weekend was filled with joy and celebration, as we welcomed friends into our home for Noah’s second birthday celebration. We had such a wonderful day with warm weather and lots of laughs. Monday was not so welcome, as tragedy struck Boston. The Boston Marathon bombing seemed unreal, unfathomable. Innocent lives lost, so many injured. America’s heart bled for the city of Baked Beans, The Green Monster, and Bunker Hill. The whirlwind week came to end on Friday evening, when the second and last bomber was captured. American breathed a collective sigh of relief.

During the work week, my favorite time of the day is in the morning. This seems very odd to me, since I’m totally not a morning person. Lately the boys have been pretty low key and into their play during and after breakfast. I can’t resist wanting to spend a few extra minutes playing with them, instead of going through my morning “get-ready-for-work” routine. I just love their bedheads and little bodies dressed in their footie PJ’s. The morning light in the house is perfect for playtime photography too. Here is what we have been up to this past week.
