PackIt Lunch Cooler Review + Giveaway

by Mindi Stavish on March 29, 2013

As a mom of two active little boys, I’m always looking for ways to make packing lunches and snacks more streamline. Meet my new favorite product that does just that- PackIt Personal coolers. PackIt is a freezable cooler that keeps your food colder, fresher, and safer for up to 10 hours! Best of all there’s no need for ice that melts or bulky, toxic ice packs.  The ice packs are built right into the  PackIt cooler.  Additionally, the PackIt easily folds for compact storage in your freezer.

PackIt coolers are available in 6 different sizes to meet everyone’s needs:

- Personal cooler lunch bag
- Wine cooler (single bottle bag)
- Wine cooler (double bottle bag)
- Mini cooler (snack bag)
- Social cooler (picnic bag)
- Shop cooler (grocery bag)

PackIt coolers are PVC-free, BPA-free, lead-free, non-toxic, earth-safe and reusable!

I have been using my PackIt cooler for a few weeks now and love it. It’s great to pack snacks for the boys when we are out running errands on the weekends or just taking a quick trip to the playground.

The personal cooler has plenty of room for a small water bottle and several different sized containers.

Just last week, I started using the PackIt to bring my lunch on the road. Since I now work out of my car as a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist, packing my lunch has become such a chore.  I no longer have an office to go to never mind a fridge.  I have struggled with keeping my lunch and snacks cold enough throughout the day.  I was more than impressed with the PackIt. My yogurt stayed cold all day and I was able to enjoy it after my 4:00 pm patient, on my drive home.

My most recent genius idea for the PackIt has been to store Noah’s cup of milk by my bed, in case he wakes up. I know super lazy, right? Being 28 weeks pregnant and getting larger by the second, I think I am entitled to some sort of laziness when my almost 2 year-old still wakes up in the middle of the night every now and then for his milk.

Honestly, I think the personal cooler is going to be a life saver this late summer/early fall when I head back to work after maternity leave. Since I will be pumping in the car between patients, I plan on using a PackIt personal cooler to keep my pumped breastmilk cold and safe.

See, PackIt = many, many uses! Interested in trying out a PackIt cooler. Purchase your PackIt cooler through their online retail store or locate a retailer that carries PackIt products near you.

Summer Fun with Friends

by Mindi Stavish on July 1, 2012

Growing up summer was all time with friends, hanging at the pool, staying up late playing monopoly while eating Cool Ranch Doritos, and waking up late to do it all over again. It’s really too bad grown-ups don’t get a summer vacation for three months. As a mom of boys I have to get these kids outside and running around or they will go stir crazy. The early part of June the weather was perfect for playground adventures with friends. They have also had a lot of fun splashing in our tot pool in the backyard.

I haven’t had as much free time these days to update the blog so have fallen behind on posting pictures of the boys. That thing called work has really gotten in the way! On my days off I really don’t want to spend a ton of time in front of the computer, because Xander and [...]
